Interpretation | Protein S, ein Vitamin K abhängiges Protein, beschleunigt als Kofaktor des aktivierten Protein C (APC) die Inaktivierung der Faktoren Va und VIIIa. Dadurch hat Protein S eine Inhibitorfunktion im Gerinnungssystem. Protein S wird hauptsächlich in der Leber gebildet und ist ein anerkannter Risikofaktor für eine Thrombophilie. |
